About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Over the years, ILN has been broadcast from various different locations, but now, we're Outdoor Life Network, Canada's #1 indoor network with cartoons like The Adventures of Rocky Rakoon and his Friends, Get Ace and everyone's favorite, Family Guy.

Our History

In 2006, our origins began as Administrator, a channel that would've become a spinoff of YTV. In 2014, when Windows XP stopped supporting, Administrator fell to heaven.

...and thus, UserTV was born. UserTV was a revived version of the original TalkTV that primarly aired general entertainment programming, and even talk show programming. It was a joint venture between Just for Laughs and Nelvana.

In 2018, UserTV was renamed MarbleKids, (licensed from MarbleMedia) focusing on a similar format but with parodies of MarbleMedia programming. Over time, the channel lessened its focus on MarbleMedia programming parody, focusing entirely on general entertainment programming, rather than focusing on general entertainment. In January 2020, MarbleMedia announced that it would purchase its stake in MarbleKids from Just for Laughs and Nelvana.

It was then announced on March 2021 that MarbleMedia was selling the channel to an unknown third party. In April 2021, CyberPowerPC announced that it would aquire MarbleKids, although the channel was origiannly going to be renamed TalkTV. CyberPowerPC dicided to change MarbleKids from a commercial-free service to a ad-supported serivce, change its name to GTV, and relocate its headquarters from Toronto, Ontario to City of Industry, California. The changes costed $1,000, which was approved on April 27, 2021. On May 2, 2021, GTV officially launched, replacing MarbleKids. New programming also included was Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot, Shaun the Sheep and Beavis and Butt-Head.

In January 2023, as part of CyberPowerPC's television division's split, it was announced that it would sell GTV up for sale in an attempt to reduce CyberPowerPC's total share in its marketing. The split was completed in February 2023, with GTV being placed in a "blind test" by Justin Trudeau, pending their sale to a third party.

On January 18, 2024, it was announced that GTV would change their name to ILN (Indoor Life Network) and acquired by SLR Productions for $4.299. While the company had already produced its own programming (such as Gasp! and I Got a Rocket!), this acquisition marked SLR's first foray into broadcasting. SLR has announced that it would leverage its lineup into more animated American content under its ownership.

Also included in the acquisition was the launch of our partnership with the YouTuber Rocky Rakoon, which he had created his friends Flo, Dave and PJ in 2023. On July 27, 2024, ILN officially launched, anchored by the launch of our partnership with Mr. Rakoon.
